The Ptarmigan Restaurant
Near Cairngorm summit. Use Cairngorm Mountain Upper Cas car park (PH22 1RB) and then take the funicular up the mountain.
The car park is situated at 635m/2083 feet above sea level. Car park has hard surfacing but during the winter season there may be snow and ice. Disabled parking is situated near the main entrance to the funicular.
The Ptarmigan Restaurant is located at the top station at 1097m/3599 feet being the highest restaurant in the UK. Access is via the Mountain funicular and then a lift to the exhibition, shop, viewing terrace and then restaurant.Serves breakfast, lunches, snacks, soups etc. Licensed bar and coffe bar, gift shop, mountain exhibition. Spectacular views from viewing terrace. No access to mountain except during ski season or on guided activities
