Accessibility statement

The Disabled Access Guide is committed to making our website accessible to as many people as possible. We want everyone to be able to use this site, regardless of ability, technology, or situation.

We have designed and developed this website to meet recognised accessibility standards wherever possible.

Our aim is to comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.

The site uses clear headings, logical structure, and colour contrast to support readability. Text can be resized using your browser controls, and the site can be navigated using a keyboard. Images include descriptive alternative text, and all important content is available without the need for a mouse or touch gestures.

We regularly review the site to improve accessibility and usability, and we welcome feedback from users to help us continue improving.

We are aware that some areas of the site may not yet meet full accessibility standards. This includes interactive map content and some third-party services that we rely on, which may not be fully optimised for screen readers. We will continue to work on these areas and explore alternative solutions.

If you experience any difficulty using this website or find any accessibility barriers, please let us know. We will do our best to resolve the issue or provide the information you need in an alternative format.
