Access guide: Kincraig

Kincraig is a small village sandwiched between Aviemore and Kingussie.

The village is not easy to move around in a mobility scooter or wheelchair as some parts of the village do not have pavements, and there are a number of hills.

There are a lot of activities available nearby, including water sports on Loch Insh, Highland Wildlife Park, Alvie Estate zip wire, a gliding school, sheep dog demonstrations, and Ospreys.

There are accommodation and restaurant facilities at Loch Insh Watersports Centre as well as a cafe and bar in the village. There is a community hall and church hall. A selection of other accommodations are available.

Kincraig is served by buses 39, M39, M91, 138, and 140, linking to Aviemore, Carrbridge and Inverness to the North, and Kingussie and Newtonmore, Perth and Edinburgh to the South.
